Accessibility
We try to ensure Milton Keynes Quaker Centre and its gardens are easily accessible and welcoming for everybody.
The building is laid out on one floor, with step-free thresholds, and is wheelchair-accessible throughout.
Entering the building
Entry for all visitors is via the wheelchair-friendly automated door at the front of the building.
Toilets
An accessible toilet is found to your left as you enter the building.
Baby-changing facilities are in the unisex toilet also to your left.
Male/female toilets are on the right-hand side of the building.
Sound enhancement
We have a modern hearing loop for users in the Main Meeting Room.
Real-time text is displayed on a monitor for people attending Sunday Meeting for Worship at the Centre. This is also visible to those attending online.
Parking
We have one designated Disabled Parking space at the front of the building.

By bicycle We are well served by Redways – these are routes reserved for cyclists and pedestrians away from traffic. You will find two bike racks with spaces for 8 bikes at the front of the building. Redway Map
By bus MK Buses
Arriva bus number 7 (MKC Rail Station to/from Wolverton via Downs Barn) stops by the Quaker Centre on V9 Overstreet – ask for ‘Downhead Park’ stop. If you are coming from the city centre direction, there is a safe pedestrian underpass for you to cross under V9 Overstreet to reach the Quaker Centre
Arriva bus number 2 (MKC Rail Station to/from Newport Pagnell via Downs Barn) stops on Downs Barn Boulevard – ask for ‘Cross and Stable’ stop. Again, take the pedestrian underpass which goes under V9 Overstreet to get to the Quaker Centre.
By train Milton Keynes Central rail station is 2.6 miles away.
By car The Centre is a 10 minutes drive from Milton Keynes Central train station and J14 of the M1. We have on-site parking for 12 cars. Additionally, a free car park is situated outside the Cross and Stable Church, Downs Barn. It is an easy 5 minute walk away, with a pedestrian underpass taking you under the main road (V9).
